The AAP workers led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Ministers held a protest at the BJP headquarters in protest of arrest of Bibhav Kumar in connection with the assaulting Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal .  As AAP leaders, led by Kejriwal, commenced their march towards the BJP headquarters in the national capital, the Delhi Police issued a warning, urging them to refrain from approaching the gate due to the imposition of Section 144. We are asking you not to come near the gate. Please listen carefully and do not violate the order. Otherwise, legal action will be taken against you, the Delhi Police announced. Kejriwal and the AAP leaders, sat on a dharna waiting for half an hour. Amidst the proceedings, AAP MP Sanjay Singh raised slogans, chanting Modi Shahi murdabad, Taanashahi Murdabad... Kejriwal zindabad, as protesters sat on the ground. Interestingly, leaders from Punjab including Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann were missing from the protest. As Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders gear up to march towards the BJP headquarters near ITO on Sunday afternoon,  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal challenged the Prime Minister to arrest them all and alleged that the BJP has started Operation Jhaadu to crush the Aam Aadmi Party since it is rising too fast. Jhaadu or broom is the party symbol of the AAP. They arrested me, Sisodia, Jain, and yesterday they arrested my PA. They are also saying they will arrest Raghav, Atishi, Saurabh, and Kailash Gahlot. So today I am telling the PM, we all are coming, arrest us all, he declared. Kejriwal said that the BJP was scared of AAP becoming a tough competition to them in the coming years, hence they want to end his party. Addressing AAP workers at the party office in New Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal also claimed the AAPs bank accounts would be frozen after polls and we will be brought on the roads, left without an office. He was speaking before the and AAP leaders, including MPs and MLAs, marched towards the BJP headquarters in New Delhi to protest the arrest of the Delhi CMs aide Bibhav Kumar by the Delhi Police for allegedly assaulting Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal on May 13. Kejriwal alleged that the BJP sees AAP as a threat, prompting what he terms "Operation Jhaadu" - a concerted campaign to undermine his party. "The PM has made up his mind to crush the Aam Aadmi Party,"  Kejriwal said, claiming that the operation involves arresting prominent AAP leaders, seizing the partys bank accounts, and shutting down their offices. "They have an Operation Jhaadu ongoing, which is that ever since I got bail, the PM has not stopped talking about AAP, that AAP is working well and the whole country is talking about their work and this party poses a threat to the BJP, which is why it is imperative to tackle with this party now itself," Kejriwal said. The recent arrest of Kejriwals aide, Bibhav Kumar, linked to an alleged assault on AAP MP Swati Maliwal has heightened tensions between AAP and the BJP. Mr Kejriwal alleges that further arrests are planned, including those of another AAP MP Raghav Chadha and Delhi ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj. "BJP thinks that this way they can do away with us. No. That cannot happen, this is not a party but a force of 140 crore people who have done immense work in Punjab, Delhi and across the country that people must not have seen in the past 75 years," he added. The Delhi Police booked Kumar for molestation and attempted culpable homicide after Maliwals complaint. The FIR includes charges under sections 308 (attempt to commit culpable homicide), 341 (wrongful restraint), 354(B) (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code at the Civil Lines police station. According to sources, Delhi police may add 201 ( destruction of evidence)  in the FIR against Bibhav.
